Guarantee and aftercare

Guarantee

Thank you for choosing to work with us at End Interiors Ltd – we hope you’re pleased with your new bathroom.

In the unlikely event that there is something wrong with your bathroom, we’re pleased to let you know that it comes with a 3 year workmanship guarantee from the date of completion. If an issue should occur, we’re just a phone call away and will be sure to reconnect you with one of the original team, so they’re familiar with your installation.

*Product Faults and general bathroom wear and tear is not included in the Installation Guarantee*.

Most products will also carry an extended manufacturer’s guarantee that will vary depending on manufacturer and product type. This is usually between 2 years for maintainable parts, like shower seals and washers, and up to a lifetime guarantee for other items. If you are ever unsure on the guarantee period of an item after installation, we will be happy to assist with any further information. Some manufacturers, like Mira, require you to fill in a form to register the product guarantee. This can usually be done by phone, online or by post using the form supplied.

Aftercare

We recommend the best way to clean products is with warm soapy water. We must also stress how important it is to not allow limescale to build up in hard water areas, like Thurrock, and under no circumstances use abrasive products on any surfaces because this may cause damage. Please avoid contact with sharp edged and pointed objects.

Baths – Each time after use, clean the bath thoroughly with warm, soap water. Manufacturers recommend using a small amount of washing up liquid. Cleaning should be done immediately after while the bath is still warm. This way insoluble soap, grease and dirt that would usually harden on the surface can be removed more easily. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Brassware – All taps, showers and accessories should be cleaned with warm soapy water only, and polished with a clean, soft, dry cloth.

Furniture – It is strongly recommended that adequate bathroom fans are installed to prevent heavy condensation. As with any timber products, bathroom furniture will be adversely affected if subjected to excessive moisture. All splashes and spillages must be mopped dry as soon as possible and any exposed or cut surfaces must be sealed with a suitable varnish or silicone sealant to prevent blowing.

Tiles – Wipe clean with a damp cloth or sponge using a neutral, non abrasive cleaner. Be sure any cleaner residue is removed with a clean water rinse
